Brian
Holland is part of the hall-of-fame songwriting/production team of
Holland-Dozier-Holland, responsible for the most gold records produced
out of the Motorcity. He had this
to say about Superdisc Mastering with Bob Dennis:
Bob is
the best mastering engineer I have ever worked with and I really
approached what he has always done for our final sound. The
mastering is all important to the product sounding the best and
Bob is great at squeezing the last bit of sound out of a mix.

George
Kerby is a Detroit Area songwriter/performer a journeyman at
guitar. George appears with several bands, most notably, Free
Funk with Muruga Booker. I recently mastered his newest
release entitled, Out Of The Corridor, and he had comments
about the mastering.
I just want to thank you again for the "masterful" job
you did on my "Out Of The Corridor" CD. While I had heard your
work for Muruga Booker's recent QBICO LP, "Free Funk" on which I
had played, working with you on this "solo" project was much
more of an ear-opening experience for me, given that I was so
heavily involved in this production.
In particular, the way you were able to meld the rough,
live-to-2-track recording of "Ghost Of A Chance" into a cut that
fits seamlessly with the surrounding studio tracks was something
only a true Master could have accomplished. That you were able
to compensate for the imbalances in the sax/guitar harmony lines
was nothing short of amazing.
Also notable was your work on "Till I Didn't", a song
where I was reaching for a classic "Beatle-y" production. Upon
hearing the mastered version of the final mix, I thought we had
really accomplished our goal. It sounded as if it might well
have been produced at EMI in the late 1960s. Blending these with
the more modern-sounding cuts such as "Corporate Stooge" and
"Waiting for Zippy" was a feat that did not go unnoticed.
Most importantly, while your resume and credits might
have seemed intimidating at first, you were quick to make me
feel like a valued client. I would not hesitate to recommend
your services to ANYONE.
Thanks again,
